Brighter Mind Psychiatry provides adult psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing follow-up for stress-related conditions for patients in Coral Gables and the rest of Miami-Dade County.
Call to schedule
Evaluation of burnout, chronic tension, irritability, and physical symptoms driven by ongoing stress.
Care for Coral Gables patients begins with a full psychiatric evaluation: current symptoms and how long they have lasted, psychiatric and medical history, medications and supplements, sleep, substance use, family history, and the daily stressors specific to work, school, and family life. From there we discuss a diagnosis in plain language and build a treatment plan together.
When medication is appropriate, options, expected benefits, side effects, and monitoring are reviewed at each visit. When helpful, care is coordinated with therapy, primary care, or other specialists, and laboratory or psychological testing may be recommended.
From the Gables the usual route is Le Jeune Road north to the Palmetto or NW 36th Street, around 25 minutes. Patients coming from the University of Miami and Gables business district often pair the visit with an errand on Palm Springs Mile.
Graduate students and professionals from the Gables commonly begin in person and continue with telehealth follow-ups scheduled between classes or client meetings. For stress-related conditions specifically, that means symptom review and medication monitoring stay on schedule without Coral Gables patients rearranging a whole workday. Appointments are available in English and Spanish, and records can be shared with your primary care physician or therapist in Coral Gables on request.
