We review your symptoms, history, and past treatment before suggesting a plan.
Options, benefits, and possible side effects are explained in plain language.
The plan is reviewed at each visit and adjusted to your response, routine, and goals.
Behavioral and emotional difficulties include anger outbursts, rapid emotional shifts, impulsivity, and reactions that feel disproportionate afterward. These patterns often strain relationships, employment, and family life even when no single diagnosis is obvious.
Evaluation looks underneath the behavior: mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, substance use, sleep deprivation, and medical conditions can all drive emotional dysregulation.
Dysregulation is a symptom. The evaluation checks for bipolar spectrum illness, ADHD, PTSD, substance effects, and sleep loss.
Emotion-regulation focused therapy is often central, with medication used to treat identified underlying conditions.
Progress is tracked in real terms: fewer conflicts, better recovery time after an episode, and steadier daily function.
An evaluation is appropriate when reactions are damaging relationships or work, when regret follows episodes regularly, or when others have expressed serious concern.
Call 786-542-5766Anger itself is not a diagnosis, but persistent dysregulated anger is often a treatable symptom of another condition.
It can, when impulsivity stems from a condition such as ADHD or a mood disorder. Treatment targets the cause.
