We review your symptoms, history, and past treatment before suggesting a plan.
Options, benefits, and possible side effects are explained in plain language.
The plan is reviewed at each visit and adjusted to your response, routine, and goals.
Anxiety becomes a clinical concern when worry is persistent, hard to control, and out of proportion to the situation. It often shows up physically first — muscle tension, stomach upset, a racing heart, or trouble falling asleep — before people recognize it as anxiety.
Evaluation identifies the pattern: generalized worry, social anxiety, health anxiety, anxiety tied to trauma, or anxiety driven by another medical cause such as thyroid disease, caffeine, or stimulant medication.
We review triggers, duration, physical symptoms, caffeine and substance use, sleep, and any medical conditions that can imitate anxiety.
Depending on severity, options may include therapy referral, non-habit-forming daily medication, and short-term strategies for acute episodes.
Anxiety treatment is reviewed regularly so that dosing stays effective without unwanted sedation or side effects.
An evaluation is reasonable when anxiety limits what you do, interferes with sleep or work, or leads you to avoid places and people you used to manage comfortably.

Yes. Many adults are treated effectively without habit-forming medication, using daily non-addictive options together with therapy and sleep strategies.
Sometimes. Thyroid and other basic labs may be recommended when symptoms suggest a medical contributor.
