Individualized care for depressive symptoms, low motivation, mood changes, and loss of interest.
Care for West Palm Beach patients begins with a full psychiatric evaluation: current symptoms and how long they have lasted, psychiatric and medical history, medications and supplements, sleep, substance use, family history, and the daily stressors specific to work, school, and family life. From there we discuss a diagnosis in plain language and build a treatment plan together.
When medication is appropriate, options, expected benefits, side effects, and monitoring are reviewed at each visit. When helpful, care is coordinated with therapy, primary care, or other specialists, and laboratory or psychological testing may be recommended.
West Palm Beach is roughly 70 miles north; I-95 or the Turnpike is a 90-minute drive each way in good conditions, which makes a routine round trip impractical for most working adults.
Care for West Palm Beach patients is delivered primarily by secure telehealth, in English or Spanish, with coordination back to local primary care and therapists in Palm Beach County. For depression and mood disorders specifically, that means West Palm Beach patients are not asked to absorb a 68-mile trip in order to keep depression and mood disorders treatment consistent. Appointments are available in English and Spanish, and records can be shared with your primary care physician or therapist in West Palm Beach on request.
Telehealth may offer West Palm Beach patients convenient access to care without the long drive to Hialeah.
Telehealth availability depends on clinical appropriateness and applicable requirements. Call to confirm eligibility.
